SPORTS

Authorities have arrested a man who allegedly disguised himself as the Deputy Director of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). Reportedly, the man had been blackmailing several government officials through false inquiries against them.

The car mechanic employed various fraudulent tactics to extort FIA officers. Furthermore, he had possession of call records of these officers, thereby demanding significant amounts of gold from them. As the case progressed and investigations commenced, it was revealed that the alleged imposter, Hussain, has a history of deceiving innocent people. For a previous similar fraud, Hussain received a five-year prison sentence from the court. However, he returned to his old ways afterward.

Law enforcement agencies initiated an investigation following a complaint registered by a government officer, citing the imposter’s exorbitant demands. The complaint details how the accused approached the government officer for a false inquiry and directed him to submit a substantial amount. The complaint suggests that he demanded 25 tolas of gold along with receipts, claiming these funds were necessary to proceed with an inquiry registered against him in a Gold case.

Nonetheless, as concerning and shocking as it may sound, the accused fraudster is in the custody of agencies, and the case is currently under investigation.
