Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra took to social media to share a remarkable transformation, revealing not one but two major milestones in her fitness journey. The actress, known for her dedication to health, disclosed that she underwent a significant weight loss through disciplined diet and regular physical activity.

Parineeti also shared insights into her preparation for the upcoming Netflix film, ‘Chamkila,’ where she had to gain 15 kilos for her role. The actor spent six months immersing herself in music at the studio of acclaimed composer A.R. Rahman, while indulging in a diet tailored to add the necessary weight for the character.

Maintaining a unique routine of combining music and food, Parineeti detailed her journey, stating, “Now that the film is done, the story is completely the opposite.”

What makes her fitness journey stand out is her incorporation of the ancient Indian martial art form, Kalaripayattu. Parineeti had embraced this holistic discipline during her weight loss journey, which involves striking techniques, kicks, grappling, weaponry, and healing methods. 

In a recent video shared by the actor, Parineeti showcased her fitness prowess, demonstrating lunges and backpress workouts with finesse.
